Charles Edochie is a business management professional with over 14 years cognate experience in the FMCG sector.
He holds a Diploma in Business Studies from Abia State Polytechnic, Aba and B.Sc in Business Administration and Management from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and has also undergone several trainings relating to sales, management and human resources management.
He started his career with Champion Breweries Plc (a subsidiary of Heineken N.V) as a Sales Representative, grew through the ranks as Senior Sales Representative, District Sales Manager covering Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi States. As a District Sales Manager, he got recognitions as “Best Performing Sales Representative” and “Best achievement in sales volume growth”.
He was later promoted to the position of Distributor Development Manager in Champion Breweries where he resigned his appointment to join Golden Guinea Breweries Plc as the Head of Marketing.
In January 2021, Charles joined the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) as a Network Manager, in charge of Owerri District, a position he occupied before his appointment as the Head of Commercial, Imo region.
NNENNA OBI has over 10 years’ experience in sales, people management and commercial business. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance and Master’s degree in Management from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Enugu.
he commenced her career with the Nigerian Brewery PLC and worked in marketing and sales and later worked as an Admin Officer in Anambra State Ministry of Lands. In 2014, she joined the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) as a Human Resources Officer.
In 2017, because of her enthusiasm for sales and her distinctive skills in providing solutions to issues, she joined the Commercial Group as a Feeder Manager and later rose to the position of District Business Manager. During this period, she won several awards and recognitions for her sterling performance.
Nnenna was appointed the Head of Commercial, Enugu State in 2022, a position she still occupies till date. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Akabogu Ikenna is an astute data analyst and certified Computer application Specialist with over 20 years in the power sector.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Statistics from the Federal University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Statistics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, and a Postgraduate Diploma (P.GD) in Information Technology.
Prior to joining the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC), he served at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as a Data Analyst. While in EEDC, he rose through the ranks and served in various capacity, as an Enumerator, System Administrator, Data Center Manager, Billing Manager, District Business Manager in charge of Abakpa District, and District Business Manager in charge of Awkunanaw District, a position he held before he was appointed as Head Commercial responsible for Anambra Central 1 region.
He introduced reforms that improved efficiency and accountability in the billing process, resulting to increased revenue and customer trust.
Ikenna has attended several professional trainings, both local and International. He enjoys football, research, and meeting people.
Engr. Obinna Nwachukwu is a Mechanical-Electrical Engineer and Energy and Power expert with over 10 years’ experience spent in the Generation and Distribution arms of the power sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State.
In 2014, he joined the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) as an Operations and Maintenance Engineer and later rose to the rank of a District Business Manager, a position he occupied till he was appointed the Head of Commercial, Central 2 Region, Anambra State.
In the course of his career, he has effectively managed power projects from planning, monitoring and implementation, and he is familiar with Engineering standards associated with electrical power distribution stations, gear-switches, breakers, panels and controls.
Joseph Egwuatu holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Lagos, with 34 years’ work experience, most of which were in the banking industry.
He is a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI) and an Honorary Senior Member (HCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and INSEAD, Singapore.
He worked in Citibank Nigeria before joining Diamond Bank, where he worked in several departments, with his last role being the Group Head, Internal Control and Compliance. In October 2007, he joined the United Bank for Africa Plc as the Divisional Head, Corporate Audit and Compliance of the UBA Retail Financial Services.
In May 2008, he moved over to Access Bank Plc as the Head, Central Processing and Head Office Control and later became the Head, Payments, Collections and Loans Unit of the Bank. He left Access Bank in April 2014 to run his private accounting firm, Joe Egwuatu & Co. (A firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners) until August 2019 when he joined the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) as the Head, Internal Audit, and was subsequently appointed to handle other responsibilities such as Head, Revenue Assurance and Head, Revenue Recovery Group (South), the position he held before assuming the current position as Head, Commercial, in charge of Abia/Ebonyi Region.
Joseph has core skills and cognate leadership experience in Internal Control, Compliance, Internal Audit, Governance, Corporate ethics and conduct, Operations, Process Re-engineering, Change Management, Risk Management, Payments and Collections, Business Development, Performance Management, Procurement, Fleet, Logistics/Facilities Management and Classified/Restructured Accounts Management and Recoveries.
He has attended numerous training courses both locally and overseas. He is a member of the prestigious Ikoyi Club 1938.
